Arrangements for Remembrance Sunday – AMENDED FOR LOCKDOWN

Due to the COVID-19 Lockdown commencing on Thursday, 5th November, the Revs Ali Bridewell and Adrian Burholt, RBL Chairman John Chandler and RBL President Sqn Ldr John Mann have devised an alternative ceremony, which will include the usual 2-minute silence and the laying of wreaths on behalf of village organisations.

Commencing at 10:50 am on Sunday, 8th November, the entire ceremony and service will be held online, on the Wellsprings Benefice Zoom Channel. There will be no public gathering at the Potterne War Memorial.

However, the online service will include, together with a slightly reduced version of the usual church service, pre-recorded video clips of the reading of the Roll of Honour and the Laying of Wreaths on behalf of village organisations.

The Order of Service will be available for you to download and view or print at home from Potterne123.uk and the Wellsprings Benefice website from Friday, 6th November. (See links below.)
